Family Weekend Schedule
Questions or need assistance during the weekend? Find our staff at these events:
- Check-in located in the Russell House Ballroom from 2-6 p.m. on Sept. 22 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sept. 23
- Rock the Roost hosted at the Strom Wellness center from 7-10 p.m. on Sept. 23
- Family Tailgate Party from 5-7 p.m. on Sept. 24
For football ticket inquires, contact the Ticketing Office at 803-777-4274 OR speak to athletic staff on site during the Russell House Ballroom check-in times.
Plan to arrive to Columbia on Thursday late afternoon/early evening (Sept. 22) to take full advantage of the opportunities available throughout the weekend. We will host featured sessions, drop in events, meet-and-greets, and more on Friday.
The schedule of events will be available in the summer on the website and the Parent & Family Programs mobile app. The schedule will be updated regularly with new events throughout the summer up until Family Weekend. We always recommend you talking to your student to map out the events you want to attend. Please note that student organizations may hold Family Weekend events separate of our official schedule.
Remember, the wristband package is only for access to the three signature events (Rock the Roost, President Meet & Greet, and Family Tailgate). You can still attend Family Weekend and visit your Carolina student while enjoying the celebratory atmosphere. Your student may have other events already planned for you! We invite you to bring the whole family! Family Weekend is for every Gamecock to enjoy, no matter their age.

Family Weekend Check-in
We encourage students to pick up packets early for families on Thursday. Students will need their Carolina Card to pick up the packet.

Campus Parking
An on-campus parking pass will be included in your Family Weekend packet that you pick up at check in. On the pass will be a list of available parking garages that are accessible with your pass. Place the pass on the rear windshield of your vehicle.
Bull Street Garage will be available and is a short walking distance from check-in at the Russell House. Parking is first-come, first-served, and garages can fill up quickly. The pass is valid through Sunday. Parking meters are also available and are free on Sundays. Please note that parking for the football game is not included.
Campus Wi-Fi
Use the UofSC Guest Wi-Fi network USCguest inside campus buildings and around the main campus. Open an internet browser when connecting and follow the prompts provided.
